IN SUNDAY SCHOOL Jesus heals a man who is paralyzed, (Mark 2:1-12). Bible words-Behold, your God …will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. Isaiah 35:4-6.
SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY - 8:45 am
Because of poor to no attendance at the 8:45 am Bible Study, last Sunday I made the announcement that this Study will not be held until I heard from individuals willing to commit themselves to the Study of God’s Word at this time. So far, only one person has shared their willingness. Until more come forward the Bible Study time will be at 11:15 am only.
SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY - 11:15 am
Who is Jesus? Seems like a pretty simple question. Today John reveals in his 1st chapter the truth about The Lamb of God. Come and grow in the Epiphany God shares.

FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY - February 12th The Board of Elders and Renata will host.
THANK YOU! For all your expressions of love and celebration and the cards on my birthday I want to express my deepest thanks. - Pastor Dean Gade
STEWARDSHIP - 1 Corinthians 9:16-27
St. Paul had the beautiful gift of showing such concern for others that he would refrain from doing what he was perfectly free to do so that the Gospel of Jesus would be better received by those to whom he was witnessing. One of the beautiful aspects of Christian stewardship is seeking and doing those things that are in the best interest and welfare of those around us!
COINS FOR MISSIONS Starting today we will be collecting coins to help support the new mission Samaritan’s Hill Lutheran Church in Ostego, MN. Any loose change you have can be deposited into the yellow cans at the back of the church. We will be collecting coins through Sunday, June 10th. Pastor and Sue Hanson, our lay delegate, will take the coins to the MNS District Convention and deposit the coins at the Opening Service on June 14th. This offering will help supply the needed start-up funding for the Ostego Mission, over and above the funds which have been budgeted by both the MNS and the MNN Districts. Pray that the offering this year might exceed $15,000!
KOA/50+ will meet on Thursday, February 16th at 12 noon. Our theme “Make ‘Em Laugh”. Bring your lunch.

STEWARDSHIP CORNER
Most people believe that money brings happiness, so they always want more of it. But money does not bring happiness. Money and the things that money can buy do not produce the good life. The good life is found in a relationship with Jesus and in using what God has given us to build His kingdom. Through the working of the Holy Spirit, we will hold the things of this world loosely and focus on things that are eternal.

ISAIAH 40:21-31 The opening lines in the passage for this week begin with a series of four rhetorical questions. Such rhetorical questions in Hebrew can also have the force of an emphatic statement: "Surely you have known! Surely you have heard!" This is not new information provided by the prophet. But like a good prophet, he draws the people back to the confessions that stand as their identity.
1 CORINTHIANS 9:16-27 The Jews and those under the law are best read as one and the same. Likewise, those outside the law, the Gentiles, are also the "weak." Think of this as a Pauline version of "There are two kinds of people." "And," Paul says, "I am what-ever they need me to be, a little A-ish or a little B-ish." Though free in Christ, Paul submits himself, to the point of being a slave, to his neighbors, willing to be "all things to all people."
MARK 1:29-39 As the Sabbath ends, it might have been tempting for Jesus to bask in the successful exorcism. , the accolades of his authoritative teaching and a reputation that has already spread throughout all of Galilee. But there is no time for resting on laurels. The gospel for this day reminds us that the story of Jesus is always on the move and will not allow any of us hearers to remain who or where we are. Within a few short verses, the end of today's lesson will invite us to join this Jesus for His mission has a grand sweep that includes us.
