His Vision For Us
With Christ as our Cornerstone, we will reach out and be an accessible caring, sharing, serving, and innovative fellowship who reach out to bring peace, healing, and salvation through faith in Christ to all people.
His Mission For Us
Through the gifts given to the people of God in this place our focus on Caring, Sharing, Serving, and Reaching is to all who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
We therefore desire to continue to embrace and accept our guests using Christ’s loving example as our pattern by:
- supporting a powerful proclamation of His Gospel through Word and Sacrament;
- providing quality liturgy, education, pastoral care, and hospitality;
- and by continuing in brotherly love as we foster acts of love and mercy among the people of our church and community.
Finally, we gather as the Body of Christ at this place and in this time, trusting God to guide us into all truth by the Holy Spirit working through us, according to His promises.
As we so gather we are the Body of Christ. As the Body of Christ, the Holy Spirit works through us in many ways and promises to give us the guidance we need. As we acknowledge and lean upon God, He promises to provide us with the guidance we need. We do that when we come to Him with empty hands. When we come with empty hands, our hearts are open to His guidance for us.
| But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. - John
