KOA (Kids Our Age / 50+)
KOA will meet on September 16 at noon. Theme: How well I remember my first day of high school. Sandwich Pot Luck - Everyone bring a sandwich filling, cut of veggies, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes or buns and we'll make our own!
We are a group of young-at-heart seniors, who usually meet the fourth Thursday of the month at
12 noon.
We dress casually and comfortable. Coffee is furnished, but we ask that you bring your own sandwich.
During our two-hour gathering, we have a short devotion.
Exercise, mostly stretching and primarily from your chair at your own ability, takes up to 5-10 minutes of our two-hour period. Some games are played to keep our brain cells sharp. The remainder of our time is used in sharing memories.
Each month we throw out a theme for our “kids” to reflect on, memories from their childhood or early adult lives. Check the bulletin or Newsletter for details on the theme.
